Still one of my favourites. Amazing cars to drive. Even the rumbling vibration when idling at stop lights is amazing.
I’d need a divorce if I bought this, but still tempted 🤔
How’s it underneath??

Underneath is all good as far as Ive seen some usual surface rust that could easily be sorted with a wire brush and a can of spray underseal but really tidy car on the whole
If I still had my unit id keep it and have the paintwork sorted over a period of time, especially looking at the crap that's out there for sale for more money !! but this is a car that can be easily done while using it, id drive it anywhere without hesitation,
petrol gauge is the worst thing for me as I cant remember where I went last as could sit for a couple of weeks at a time!! so just keep it full, rev counter not an issue if anyone is buying a 50 year old yank to be bouncing it off the red line there buying the wrong car !!

Last questions:
Is the glass body okay and do the T-tops leak?
How’s the leather and the dash (regarding cracks etc)?
I’ve no space in my garage and probably just car cover in Scottish driveway 🤔

Body is ok nothing in the way of cracking, paint has some bubbling but thats to do with the paint rather than the body, never been out it the rain so cant say about the T tops however they fit well and new rubbers if needed are cheap, inside cloth seats are tidy couple of cracks to the top of the dash, once again nothing you would get excited about but dash top pads also not expensive

LOL thanks Paul yes you can, took it out today to get some fuel put new wiper blades on it, the looks you get are amazing and it really does drive well, ive had a lot of yanks and there all clunky and feel loose this is so much better,

Doesn't it have a trip meter? I never use the fuel gauge on anything, always set the trip when I fill up and when I get somethng new I do a few runs down to below 1/4 tank on the guage, watching the trip to give me more idea of 'tank range by miles'. I've not run out of fuel, ever, using this method.

it does have one thats what I do, keep it full up do 100-150 miles then refill it works well enough, ive never run out
