Lovely bike.

I have to ask... why is the DOHC backwards on the right hand engine (points?) cover?

Very nice indeed. But I have to ask why would you even consider selling such great example of the most desirable Japanese classic bike.

About the only time I’ve ever wished that my inheritance could be a bit sooner. Absolutely stunning and totally desirable. GLWTS.

Fantastic looking z900.
Reminds me of the late 70's and 80's when I had a few, the last one being a z900a4 in Diamond Brown which was near enough a Subaru colour when i wanted to have a replacement side panel painted. Went across to France in 1988 and it broke down when I was down by the Med, the well know regulator/rectifier problem, cooked the battery and the ignition coils, a bodged repair in a local bike dealer and I was on the road again....sold it when I got back after repairing it... moved on with buying newer more modern bikes but always had a soft spot for the big zeds.
Good luck with the sale, it looks superb.
