I bought this from Hoff on here about a year ago, pootled around on it, had a petcock replaced, and now after a year it's time to let go, I'm not going to be riding for a couple of years, hopefully I can get back on 2 wheels in the future.

Hoff did a huge amount of mechanical work to it, new clutch, new tyres, basically a total mechanical rebuilt with a few tweaks like the relocated master cylinder and Katdash fitted, added panniers and a rack, new exhaust system, and I've got receipts for more than £5k thats been spent on it by him. Legend.

Here is the snippet from him about it:

"New clutch, refurbished gearbox (now non kick start), rear engine seal replaced, push rod seals changed, new coils and HT leads, front forks refurbished, steering head bearings replaced, swing arm bearings replaced, under tank master cylinder moved to a handle bar master cylinder, right hand cylinder exhaust thread replaced, all cables replaced, new continental tyres fitted, new exhaust down pipes fitted, Katdash fitted to instrument housing, both carbs refurbished, new battery, pannier frames and rear rack fitted, second hand panniers, new centre and side stand. There are lots of other bits done to the bike probably too many to remember."

It's time for someone to either do the shiny stuff and complete it, or just ride it as it is. I wouldn't change it at all personally.

£3000, NW Surrey. Or £3200 and wen can have a little dance and haggle and settle on £3k.

Bump, still available. Would consider a PX/Swap for something that'll keep me amused.

Very interested, do you fancy a swap for a very nicely restored Suzuki TS185?

Why not keep it. Store it properly and it'll be fine. It won't depreciate and it will be there waiting for you when you can ride again.

It's a likely scenario to be honest, I'll look at draining the fuel from it and tucking it under some sheets.

Geesexr I'll go take a look at your message, thanks!

Sadly it looks like I'm not going to be going back to riding for a rather long time, so this is definitely going. We'll call it £2800 to a tosser.

Keep it and Bolt on a sidecar
Then you can continue to ride.
I have Parkinson's and this was my solution.
An idea for you.
Get a sidecar from " Fast Boys " Leicester.

I had a Ural until a couple of years ago, wish I'd kept that as I could have continued to ride it. I'll go see what chairs are out there.
