I was at the Scottisc Classic Racing M/C Club's annual Autojumble at Lanark today . . .

I spotted this 1981 R100CS that had been SOLD and moved out of the limelight (no mention of a price).

A nice little project for someone :augie :augie

(And you think you've got problems :blast).

And, I bumped into 'Straypuss', ogling Guzzis :clap

:D

Bob.

nothing wrong with that at all and wouldn't take any more work than one in a better condition. Its also got a full stainless exhaust system

Id have it at the drop of a hat.

Heres one I bought from Steptoe a few years ago. Typical London bike, they refer to bikes like this as being "almost pristine" in London.

Was that one of his 'keepers'? :D

Best one I'd ever see apparently. cutting his own froat selling it to me :D

A session with the wire wheel on a grinder sorted the frame out and it wasn't as bad as it looked. Andy Mullin bought it off me and took it to Yorkshire, it then went down south for a while before Matkat bought it and took it to the West Midlands, he then sold it to somebody else in London. It seems to have disappeared again.

Theres no reason why that CS wouldn't come back up but you'd need to throw around £1500 at it to make really nice.

I saw that too Bob. Resisted the temptation!
