This is a just in case sale really...

Do you need...

-A good hack bike
- something for a NC500 or similar
- Or like a bit of bargain value like me...😉

Long MOT, 87k miles, 1/2 or more left on the tyres, starts first time every time...
Condition average but solid for a 1990 and I've been on top of the usual ST11 stuff. I've covered 8.5k since last April... Longest run approx 400 miles. 45+ MPG all day and a lovely free revving version which still feels great 36 years on!
The last owner was a very nice engineer type man who changed the timing belt and tensioner and gave me the originals which looked great... Amazing bikes these...😆 I've been using it as a equal 1st choice bike but used it for two months solid and as I'm a lanky twat it is a tight fit and my left hip/ sciatica has flared up to go with historical right leg version...😆 I've bought an equally cheap 1150RT which I can stretch out on and use lower pegs etc...
Like I've said, average but solid condition and solid swingarm, alternator and I painted the back of the fuel tank and added a protective rubber flap to stop any more annoyance... I've added grip pups and braided front hoses (rear inc to fit)... Bar raisers fitted and will stay for asking price. I'll dig out any spares etc. Also a Haynes...
See what you think, PM me, have a chat etc if at all interested...😉

PS... I paid £1k which was a bargain and just looking to hand on the same sort of deal...👍

These were, and still are, great bikes. Some would say better than the 1300 that superceded it in some ways. Always been rock solid on the road.
A bargain price for something that can probably still tour and show its heels to some other big bikes. 👍

I've had both and prefer the 1100... A good balance between go and solid handling and very relaxed revs at 70+... I thought the feel of the 13 engine was a step backwards and I've fixed up a previous ST11 and the 13 I had and the 13 was way more complicated...
Forgot to say taller screen which works well for my 6'5" and a clutch slave replacement and braided hose...
Shame for me as my legs are so long that I use an Air hawk on these as a booster seat and even then it's an only just fit for me knees... Lower pegs wouldn't work...

Pan was the best police bike i rode, last year I got another one , 1993 with 12k
(now sold to another member from here) Went touring with my lad all around France, ran like clockwork excellent bikesScreenshot_20250619_133620_Facebook.jpg

Absolutely. We had those, could bounce them off the red line all day long.
Then we went straight to FJR's.

Yep, a brilliant engine and perhaps the best belt drive vehicle engine ever... Seems perfectly balanced and this one had a new belt as a precaution but really never needed usually...

I've been on this again tonight and it's a laugh so I think I'm going to keep it... If you like big bikes you can hustle and the engine is a peach... Gearbox so slick it's half a DCT...😆
