I ordered one in 1994 that was the first year of injection Aug 94 onwards, unfortunately delivery was going to be November so bought a triumph sprint instead.
Fast forwarding 13 years I bought this one a 94 model with 900 miles on it.
Nice bike while i had it but I could never get away with having to balance my foot to operate the rear brake hence sold it.
Somewhere in my future i see either an ambassador or a T3 cali.

Guzzi collected & ridden home. Front brake scared me until I realised about the foot brake. First impressions, engine feel is great, seat comfortable. Screen suits my arse to head height, lots of protection and quiet.
Neutral light gave up the ghost within a mile of the sellers house
Realised that the dash lights for the dip & main beam aren't working, hopefully just the bulbs for the dash lights.
Getting a manual would appear to be a no hoper!!

Dash lights always seem to have a mind of their own and often blow ;-)
Neutral switch is a small nipple thing on the gearbox with a wire running off, I've never had a switch blow but (as above) plenty of bulbs in the dash....... Z

~~ it may be working - just that you're finding one of the many other neutrals available on a Guzzi!

~~ dont bother - buy 'Guzziology' - better than any manual, comes with inbuilt sense of humor* too (it's an American thang)

The manuals are all on line. Any one will do as they are basically all the same bike. Anyway you don't need a manual you have Cookie

i have a pdf of the factory manual for the 1100 cali. not sure what years it cover, i'm not that clued up on the new models

the neutral switch is on the LHS of the gearbox, just above the starter motor. it's a black plastic flange held on by 2 bolts. all it is, is a steel spring that extends into the gearbox. when the selector drum is in the neutral position, a pip on the drum touches the switch spring and earths it via the gearbox. easy to check if it's working with a continuity tester. it can be unbolted and the spring bent to suit, but be careful you don't snap the flange pulling it out.
i'd speculate it's a wiring issue at the instrument end. probably a missing live that the other non working lamps need.
