Hi Guys
My problem is one day whilst touring the tacho decided to park itself at 1000 revs, hard acceleeration or fast running might get it to stick its head up above the 12/1300 parapet but certainly no more. Generally it just sits there at 1000rpm to all intents and purposes dead, When the engine is not running the needle drops back to zero on just the ignition or in the off position. Its like there is something fighting it back and holding at 1000rpm when the engine is running.
All other instruments, back lights etc functioning quite normally,
Any ideas suggestions would be much appreciated,
