Guys
I had to re-arrange the date of the Cotwolds Trails Tour to Sunday, 19th July.

This si going to be a 4 hour trail ride on GS suitable trails. If it is dry then Tourances will be OK.

The last ride-out we did was probably too long os we have cut the tour into two halfs running a North Cotswold tour and a South Cotswold Tour.

This one will be a North Cotswold Tour.

PM me to add your name to the list - we only take 5 riders at a time on this tour as the trails can be busy.

cheers

Burt

I would love to go, but my sister is visiting this weekend with her 3 small children. have a good one guys :)

Hi,
No problem with the kit you have - we'll look after you and as there are two of us leading the ride out we can always take an alternative route.

Burt

Great Thanks looking forward to it :bounce

Let me know meeting point n time when you know.

I have a lot of mods planed for my 12 but i am trying to keep the weight down as i use the bike to commute and have to carry allot of kit. plus i like doing it myself. what would be the first of-road mod you or any others recommend? i was thinking of running a more Nobbly front tyre with the road bias on the back (eg mileage) in the long run a spare set of wheels would be good.

Mods I have made to my GSA for off road - TKC80's front and rear. Also a tie to hold up the centre stand, bigger side stand foot, left hand side protector on the potentiometer ( boot tends to knock this more than anything.
Cut down screen and removed the rear mudguard thing !! Also I have bar risers - just feels more comfortable when standing.
I have also softened the suspension off and run the tyres pressures lower.

Next mod is a better sump guard and then upgrade the suspension.

That's all for now.

The ride out on Sunday is aimed at GSer's who want to give trail riding a go. The trails are simple and straight forwards and the length of the ride out can be modified to suit.

These are easy trails and we will be running with a leader and tail end charlie.

We will be starting from Cheltenham at about 9.30am on Sunday.

big orange (well black!)intruder

I've a 990 Adv. Live near Monmouth so Cheltenham accessible. Only got Scorpion tyres fitted at present.
Do you have a space and ,after this rain, will the Scorps be OK ( pretty crap in mud I remember!)
A little green laning experience but looking for a gentler ride.

Cheers
