Wanted 2/3 man tent on budget

I’m after a 2/3 man tent for an 82 year old who insists on coming to the abr next year. He doesn’t ride but wants to do a big festival before he’s too old to do such stuff, it’s on his bucket list . No point investing in anything good , hell he may not even make the Abr being 82 ! . I’ve got him two blow up mats that I’m gonna gaffa tape together and a couple of sleeping bags .I’ve paid for his abr ticket . He insists on paying me back for the ticket at a fiver a week. It’s my intention to give him his cash back for spending money . He just doesn’t know it yet. I’ve yet to figure out how to keep him out of the rave tent dancing with the girlies . So just looking for something tent wise cheap that’s waterproof . I’ve looked on fb marketplace , all I’ve seen is overpriced cheap crap that’s miles away. We’re all good for catering stuff . I’ve only a two man tent so will be real friendly to say the least ! I’m based North Kent . Cheers ladies and gents!

Hi peeps. I’ve managed to get a three birth which needs a repair . So getting busy , JH , if I can keep you as standby that would be ace . OB1 from screwfix is ace for tent repairs so I have found out !

likewise I may have a Vango 2/3 man in the loft - it has a wonky porch pole (i stood on it) but the sleeping area is as far as i remember ok ...

I would have just bought one from Go Outdoors and then sold it on next year if necessary. Their tents are so reasonably priced you couldn’t go wrong.
