Evening .
In her wisdom ,, Billie reckons we should head to Northern Spain on our
Van Van,s ,, those in the know will know , these are 125 , and i aint going to
Spain on a 125 from here .
I am after Cunning ways to get the two bikes down.
I reckon part of the problem is that i dont have an Address in the Area ?..
Cunning Suggestions welcome.
And yes i have thought of buying two there , but am not too keen.

Maybe do a search for Woodside trading and give them a call They ship stuff to the Canaries which must go via North of Spain I would have thought?

Forget buying in Spain Phil. You need to be on a "Padron" (register of electors) to get log book in your name. Also there is a "transfer tax" :augie on the sale of vehicles in Spain. Oh yea . . . . bikes are more expensive there as well ! When are you thinking of heading over ? I could be tempted to ship an adventure over again.

Suggestions

1./ Ferry to U.K. / ride to Plymouth or Portsmouth* / ferry to Santander, head northeast - you're there.
*yeah - i know; you've to ride down the U.K. to get to port. Can be done and enjoyed if you plan a suitable route.

2./ Ferry to France / ride to Gijon (? - cant remember if that's right place :blast do a search) / get ferry to Santander. head northeast etc.
If you stick close to or on the coast of France, it's a lovely route with a little forethought.

You're close, Saint Nazaire in France to Gijon in Spain.

Took my Serow to the Pyrenees a few years ago - in a van via the Portsmouth to Santander ferry - a great way to travel.

Want to go to Morocco but time is limited so recently contacted Fly Bike Fly. However, I've not used them because I want to go in October & they don't have a service beyond Sept. But if useful to you, they have pick up points in Belfast or Dublin & drop off in Malaga or Nice. Your bike will be in secure storage between pick up dates.
