Im after some good quality 2 pin plug and sockets to do some wiring mods on my GS, anybody know of any available.
I'd prefer not to use Sotchloks or bullet crimps.

My bike came fitted with 2 auxilliary power sockets, no idea who when or who fitted them though. Will post a piccy of them soon

connectors

you dont say what you want them for.
however always try maplins they have a reasonable range and are on the high street, failing that if you live in or near a reasonable size town you may have an RS componets and they always have a retail counter.

Try thinking latrialy, we had to rewire the connectors for my mates heated waistcoat and we couldnt find the right plug so we used audio jack plugs as they easily take 12v dc.
Almost anything you are going to fit to a bike will only require a 12v supply and a low current, so there are lots of options for other things that will do.

If you want a number of connections what about using a plessey plug, you can buy them new or try military surplus, they are a multi core connector with screw on caps and fittings so they are completly waterproof. I used one to take a single power supply from the battery into a tank bag and then wired into the other side of the plug chargers for phone gps ipod and pda, and a damn site cheaper than the multimedia tankbag from wunderlich!!!

spot lights are 1st on my list, that link above seems to cater for all my needs :-)

the 2 I mention fitted to the bike already appear to be on that site. looks like I could even use a spare relay terminal in the fuse box, just need to buy the spare contacts.
