trying to get a clearer vid sorted on vimeo but keep loosing quality in the upload. any ideas guys and girls. it does get better the firther along you play it.
enjoy, planning to do a gs ride out up there somtime if anyone is intrested.
the whole trip over 3 days cost less than a ton, fuel, accom and grub.

Awesome report, really enjoyed that. Im going up there on Friday 2 nights camping with a mate, staying in Galloway Forest. From watching your report will be doing Raiders Road, are there any other must do roads you know of ?

right a good road for you
A713 just before bellsbank near dalmellington, follow the forest road down the side of loch doon (nice coffee stop half way) then just keep following the track that turns in to gravel for about 10 miles through the carrick forest.
brings you out at glen tool, then hit the queensway up to the raiders road just before clatteringshaws loch, fantastic

have a good safe ride mate

Ok everyone, i made this whole story up. dont go as the place is full of midges and they eat everything deep fried, the roads are full of police who hate bikers and the sun never shines,:augie

hi mate, i am on the laptop at the mo but if i get a chance i will mail you a copy, wont post it on the page as roddy will be gunning for me.
from mancheter it was a 630 mile round trip.
give me a few days buddy
 
Fireman, just got back from weekend at around Galloway, weather was mixed but mainly dry, roads were out of this world. Thanks for your recommendation did the Loch Doon route & had a great time, actually camped at Glen Trool, which is a basic camp site but ideally placed & 5 mins away from a decent pub which does home made cooking thats so good we had to wait nearly two hours to get a table! All in all a top weekend :flag
