Hi.

My left hand indicators have stopped working. I am pretty sure it is the little white switch activated by the thumb 'paddle'. I have a few questions that I hope someone can help me with (I have read the thread about replacing the microswitches).

1. If the right indicators and hazards are working, does this rule out the relay?
2. If decided to replace the entire switch gear and loom, does this mean tank removal to plug in the new loom?
3. If I have a go with replacing the white micro, how do I access the blasted thing? I have no problem getting the switch gear unfastened from the rest of the bike, but how do you remove the horn and indicator paddles?

Thanks very much in advance for any advice!

Chris.

I doubt that it's the relay, more likely the micro switch. You'll need to remove the tank to disconnect switch from the loom. To be honest, it's easier to replace microswitch with switch removed from bike than trying to do it in situ. There is an internal cover which holds wires in place which needs removing to access the switches and paddles.
