A close friend due to failing health has several bikes to sell including the bike shown which he’s owned for about 10 years, and which has never missed a beat, and I can report it has no issues.It has always been kept trickle charged, and about 6 weeks ago I started it on the button and took it for an MOT..The rear tyre was border line (advisory) not a failure, but Ray being Ray told me to replace the tyre wanting to pass the bike on in good order.
It is a good bike not a minter, but well loved and looked after, used for local social riding only, and ready to continue to give many years of service.
It has 56,000 miles garage kept and wear consistent with its age, but no winter use, or accident damage..
It appears to have a non standard comfort seat, which from my riding would say it’s standard height, and very comfortable.
Panniers and a tank bag, and a larger extra screen…He is looking for £2,500.
