One of my riding mates has decided it's time to let his GSA go as it's now got too heavy for him to handle safely.

He's the original owner and I've personally known the 'bike from the day he bought it.

We've been all over together with it...Krakow, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, France and Scotland far too many times to remember!

We have in fact just come home from a 1,600 mile epic Scotland tour where he dropped it at a road junction which finally told him 'it's time for something smaller'. (I rode the 'bike for a good hour on this trip and it is as sweet as a nut).

So, not pretty to look at and he's the first to admit it's...'cosmetically challenged!'

As you'll see, there are several dents/marks on the tank. The engine and fork paintwork is scabby and the ABS light won't go out...this has gone on for years tbh.

Extras include:
Full BMW luggage (1 x hinge broken)
Remus exhaust and 'Y' piece.
Touratech riding light.
Hepco and Becker engine and tank bars - the scoring on the offside engine bars was from last week's drop.

He gets the bike serviced by a local indy whenever he wants to play out on it but cannot find the paperwork at present - recently moved house so it could be anywhere!

An MOT history check will give you a good
understanding of its usage.

Current mileage is 50,660

So, if you're looking for a classic to ride over summer and fettle over winter this one is worthy if consideration.

Pics of the bike from last weeks trip attached...he tells me he's washed it today (a very rare occurrence!) and will take some more tomorrow when I'll post them.

Bike is located in Ilkley, West Yorkshire and asking price is £4,000.00 firm.

PM me if interested please

I don't know why, but i'd like to build a go cart/ off road dune buggy with a boxer engine ...

it sounds odd if I could just find a donor trike or somehting like that, I have an angle grinder....

Cast your mind back @Sunny Jim to 2018

You sold me your black 2005 1150 GSA (similarly owned by you from new and serviced/fettled/cherished to death) with 55,000 or thereabouts on it, for £4200

Alloy panniers and lots of other trinkets/farkles

Condition was very, very good (it’s still spot on at 77,000) and not neglected or shabby like this one of Lee’s

I think he’s a tad optimistic

A tad? About £1500 or so surely and that if it was cleaned up.

Mate there's too much material to work on.... but I think a dune buggy with a boxer engine might be a laugh....
