Due to a need to downsize (house move) I am selling my 2002 R1150GS.

The good points:
  • one owner (me) from new
  • comes with touratech aluminium panniers and frames (not sure if the panniers pictures are the correct ones - my 1150GSA also has aluminium panniers and they are not interchangeable!)
  • comes with a selection of seats - including Corbin and Wunderlich and the one that is on at the moment
  • almost new Roadtec front tyre
  • engine bars
  • Givi topbox mounting plate and box
The less good bits
  • I am not good a cleaning bikes - it is dirty and has a fair bit of corrosion (well, a lot)
  • it has not been run for about 5 years - bikes was put on SORN in 2020.

Reasons for sale: I have two bikes on the road, R1150GSA and R1200GSA. I cannot find any reason to keep 3 bikes on the road, my annual mileage has dropped from about 20k to 3k due to all the travel I did associated with work having ended due to Covid - which is why I did not retax or MoT the R1150GS in 2020.

Ideal a project to do up this summer to use as a winter bike.

The bike will need to be collected with a trailer or van as SORNed and no MoT

Asking £1000. I think it will break for more than that, but I don't have the time.

I have the same screen on my Gs. The best by far that I’ve had on any of my bikes.
I have similar on my other two as well. I did loads of motorway miles and got neck ache with bm screens.
