Hi all,

I have passed this last year without abs modulator...until now I bought one in ebay!

I have installed the new "used" unit in my bike and bleed all the unit nioples but it's not working properly!?!?

When I turn the key on the ABS pump starts working and only stops when I turn the key back off.

I also added brake fluid in the two black screws the front wheel is now breaking but the rear is still dead!?

What follows now?

Need HELP!!!

Thanks in advance!

servo

Check the electrical connector above the rear brake fluid container/master cylinder tied to the frame rail, it has green/black and yellow wire. make sure it is connected properly with no breaks in the wire.

First thing tomorrow... : )

I'll report later!

If the brake pedal switch is not stuck on, then it could be the pressure sensor in the unit, it primes and checks the hydraulics on power up. My first servo died this way - faulty electronics u/s.

...Servo tests results...

I´ve checked the electrical connector it was ok!

Then I unplugged it and the stop light turned on...With a little electrical cable inside the electrical connector I turned off and on the stop light and the servo changed the pumping sound but it was still pumping...

I guess Steptoe is right...The ABS is not working I'll try to do a test in a BMW store...

Never the less I'll start the returning process off the damaged part to the seller!

Thanks anyway
