2004 GS1200?

Hi, I have an offer on a 2004 GS1200 but they were the first of the 1200's and I read that they had some exhaust valve problems. This one has done 50k miles but has been loved. Is it a risk or am I being paranoid for no reason?

I think this is correct, bearing in mind my two pennies: condition is everything, and, is the price right?
If its a one owner, who can tell you about all the recalls/parts/servicing/tyres/brakes then there is a good chance that all is well
