2004 S Type R, bought earlier this year whilst my other car was having some fettling, thats due back next week so this is now surplus to requirements.
Bought off a Jaguar specialist who addressed most, if not all of the MOT advisories (I have replacement NSF headlamp unit to address the advisory re what looks like tinting), drives really well, slight knocking on front suspension but seems to go after a few mins. All electrics work, no warning lights and when I left it for three weeks there was no battery drain - I've not bothered to put it on a c tek when not used. I've done a couple of quickish 200 mile runs recently in 30 plus degree heat, no overheating or anything - even when stuck on M5 but there is a slight coolant whiff after running - checked with ultra violet tracer and no sign of anything even in the V where the plastic pipe is, I did find a slight drip from the pipe running into header tank but removed it and pipes, cleaned up and no leaks now. Aircon nice and cold.
MOT to Dec 26, 148,000 miles -may go up slightly as its a great daily driver. 33mpg on sensible speed motorway run, 25ish on commute.
All tyres have lots of tread and are premium brand (Michelin I think, forgot to check), fronts I know are 2023 dated, rears 2025 from MOT.
Original Jag SATNAV fitted, still works but shows me driving across fields near J12 M40!!!
J8 SVO Plate can stay with car (I think the S Type R was commissioned by Special Vehicle Ops when Ford owned Jaguar).
No test drives without full payment.
£3,750 ish but will accept sensible offers, might take sub 350cc trail bike or classic bike in PX.
