May not be rich enough for all of you guys on here.
Bought it here about 3 years ago.

And it has over 3/4 tank of precious DIESEL At 50-65 mpg you can go for days šŸ˜‰

I am still driving it till Saturday when new incoming car is getting collected.

HERE’s a video I prepared this morning showing the warts and dingleberries.
.

I have also given it a hot sponge bath today 😈😈😈😈😈

So it looks a lot better than the video.

71k miles

MOT to end of October. Check history. No reason for it not to continue its good behaviour.

It has an intermittent glitch which has the dash display turning itself off.
One of you guys will probably fix it in 30 seconds, But I am not that guy.
I have lived with it the last 6-10 months and if I need a speedo display, I just turn on Waze or a satnav.

It’s got some battle scars shown in the video, on the passenger side. I never see the actual damage when I get in šŸ˜‚

Nearest station is Rochester or Strood in Kent if you need picking up.

Or collect at St Mary Hoo near Rochester

Messenger if interested in buying it for £450.00

We have the shape after that, but still with the 1.5dCi engine.
Now pushing on toward 130k miles with no major dramas.

Used daily for rush hour commuting to Manchester by Mrs T, 47mpg average over the last 40k (when I changed the battery and the counter reset), but that's with the electronic auto/manual gearbox thing and Mrs T's heavy right foot.

No plans to part with ours... truly has been (and still is) cheap, reliable, comfortable motoring.
GLWS - vastly underrated cars.

I have had it 10k miles and three years.

Honestly, it has had oil and filter service, and a top mount bush replacement.

Just no costs.

It had one great owner for over 17 years before me and it feels and shows.

I generally am not in a huge rush and see 50+ mpg

I may be making a mistake changing it, but admittedly get bored and like change.

You only have to look at the procession of crap cars and Americans that come and go at Grizz Towers. They all leave much better than when they arrived.

No clue.

I just pay shit that hurts my head.

I will have to go look in my banking history.

I think £265.00 per year.

Well……. @geotim now my head really fucking hurts

Thank you.

Thank you !!!!!!!

The car I am collecting on Saturday has cost me £80.00 to change insurance, my lodger is driving me 260 miles for collection (return trip) at cost of diesel at around 16 liters = £26.00
The new (21 year old) car needs work and replacement parts TBC.
Message from seller today: You’re right! It’s now Ā£325! I thought I paid around Ā£200 before. Bad memory.

So buying an old car, certainly much mÓre underpowered than the Scenic, less efficient, but ULEZ exempt (WooofuckinHoooo) is costing me an additional £ 230.00 just to change keys.
Plus DVLA don’t reimburse two or three weeks. So they grt double payment.

Ooooppps.

Your question was how much tax??

ONLY £200.00 per year.

I must be stupid.

But it’s a loooonnnng trip down to Kent šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

How long?

No pain no gain.

Astro van from Scunthorpe
Oldsmobile from North Wales via Shropshire

Road trips build character.

Look at what I became šŸ˜‚
