Had one of those in yellow .
Lovely bike but those clip ons were very low
Lovely looking bike. As Arsey says looks quite focussed, but what a thing to wait for spring with. Enjoy 
Arsey was yours a 2006 or a 2007? The 2007 has bars about 2” higher than the 2006
If you’re riding at c50 up they’re comfy. Traffic is a nightmare. If the clutch gives you arm pump you can get one with a different bore that reduces the pressure. Yours looks like it has modern tyres and not the Phantoms which is good. Your belt covers are lovely. Belts are easy to change yourself and can be left to six years with modern rubbers.

Thanks for posting the Paul Smart photo, the ultimate of the Sport Classic range. In the picture of my 2007 if you notice the yellow 900SS in the back ground that’s mine as well. Rode it to the Bruno GP last year a 2200 mile trip with no issues and in prefect comfort so not worried about the low bars. Thanks again for posting PS photo

The 2007 model was the more agronomical model of the Sport Classic line. It had a wet clutch, much litter than the dry clutch as found on earlier models and substantial higher bars as it did not have a fairing. Only slightly lower than the Ducati ST4 and ST4S and they were sport touring bikes. So Arsey if your bike had a dry clutch it was a 2006 model with the low bars. To correct this many owners installed Ducati ST4 bars as they are a direct replacement with no other modifications required
This my mate Dave's, he has (I think) Helibars which make it rideable
I remember when the Ducati Classic range was announced, must have been about 2005. I immediately put down a £500 deposit on one, can't remember which of the three models it was, with Coventry Ducati. Sadly, I was made redundant in 2005 and had to cancel the order as it seemed prudent to do so with the financial uncertainty.
Just reminded me, my Paul smart was ordered by another bloke who waited 18 months on it then bought a Fazer 1000 instead!)

Yep wet clutch was lighter but the dry clutch that sounded like it was about to expire was the dogs!!

My multi has a dry clutch, after 6 years of ownership it drives me fekkin mad clack clack clack I have come to hate it
Have decided I’ll ride this bike to Ducati week this year as it’s their 100th anniversary. Made the steel brackets up and attached the cases. Took it for its first test ride today with the bags and all went well. Will add a dry bag over the rear seat and cases as well as a tank bag. We are on the road for about two weeks so nice to have the storage space
