Just got the bike and want to check the condition of my air filter. Just have a couple of questions:

1. Where the fek is it hiding on the bike (does anybody have any photos to assist)?
2. Is it reasonably easy to change?
3. Would a K&N make a difference to a stock filter?
4. If the answer to Q3 is yes would i need to adjust the mixture.

Thanks

Dont know if it's different on a 2007 but on a 2008 remove the right hand tank panel and the right hand metal panel below it. That'll reveal the snorkel that's clipped in. Pull that out and the filter is revealed, and in the case of my GSA a dessicated sparrow!

Can't help with the rest of the questions.

3. yes, the engine will wear out quicker.
4. If you do fit a K&N and ditched the standard exhaust then the bike will run lean and probably need a power commander to get the best out of the combination. Lots of threads about performance upgrading by this route if you do a search
