2007 key fob keeps eating batteries

My 2007 GSA 2 button fob is flying through batterys,2 in a month. Im not sure what the first one was brand or date wise but the last one was renatta and manufacture date of 2 months old and that dies in 2 weeks. Has anyone came across this? Key spends more time in a drawer so its not as if the buttons were constantly active

No batteries in either my 05 or 09 so my guess is the 2007 didn’t either.
Perhaps it’s from 2017, in which case there are a few threads in the subject.

Unless you mean the alarm fob?....
