Bought from FatnFast of this parish in August 2021 (previously owned by Lumpy) to keep my NCB while I popped abroad for a bit. I collected it, drove maybe 500 miles and then put it in my Grandma's garage SORNed in July 2022 with a little but of fuel + fuel stabiliser where it's sat under a cover since - with the occasional wheel roll to stop the tyres squaring off. It's a lovely colour and I'm sad I didn't get the time to drive it more
Mileage approx 99k - some rust bubbles on the arches (see original listing below) and a scratch on the front passenger side (see photos)
I know it would sell for more putting it back on the road but I don't really have the time and would rather not spend a few hundred quid insuring it to just sell! Therefore, would rather a good deal to a tosser here. Don't know of any reasons why a jump start and some fuel wouldn't get it straight through an MOT! I see salvage ones are going for £1200 on ebay - asking for £1100 (including x2 covers, a steering lock and bluetooth music adapter) Car located in London SE9.
Original listing from FatnFast in August 2021 (n.b I've reused some of the original photos as I don't have that many of my own!):
Mazda MX5 2007.
Mot until July next year. Full Mazda specialist service carried out
less than 1000 miles ago. This included new front calipers and
discs as well as diff oil, brake fluid etc. Part service history prior to
this. 98,600 miles.
Drives really well, reliable starter. It's my wife's car and being the
1800 was incredibly cheap to insure even as a second car with
zero NCB.
Has PAS, electric windows and mirrors, alloys, excellent tyres.
Hood is manual and in good condition. Reproofed a couple of
months ago, no leaks. No Aircon, but it is a convertible!
Very minor bubbling on bits of the arches. It was there when she
bought it and hasn't got any worse.
Really nice in the Red, funny how a simple colour makes it look
good.
Comes with a tailored hood protector for winter. There's even a
full car cover as well.
She's selling as a more suitable car is now needed to get to and
from her office on London.
I think you will struggle to find one cheaper that drives this good.
