Good morning all, I'm running a well-used 2007 RTP with 55K on it. I will now be using it to commute throughout the year, and during a recent rummage on the bike, I spotted that the saddle had a cable with a connector that had been tucked away out of sight. I can only assume this is therefore a heated seat, and I'm keen to take advantage of this option.
I've no heated seat switchgear nor can I identify quite where any connecting cable should go, although I've seen other threads identifying a connector in the loom, which I don't think I have. I'm reasonably handy with wiring and believe I could create a loom and bespoke switchgear if I knew what the characteristics of the seat heating element are.
So has anyone done anything similar, or have any bright ideas about connecting cables/connections to the loom and switchgear?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
