Is there any chance that the old airhead will get round??

I think this is a two day event, Red Kite is all on one which I think sounds a better bet for a 1st attempt.

Usually just the Sat. afternoon for a lap or two. Social in Llanidloes in the evening then wobble round again on Sun
I have off roaded before at the Wirral off road hare and hounds type of events. Never done an event on the old girl and fancied giving it a try but need to be mainly hard(ish) surfaces. Unlike the Berg, I'm guessing that a bog would be a major trauma on the airhead (unless I fit some type of floatation device or ski to the crash bars).

and some lovely terrain , but if you are in early there was a hostel near the start with lovely warm Accomodation and a drying room , a good idea in North Wales at that time of the year , start area was called Staylittle
there should be a start area and accomodation map enclosed here ... this if for the last event held in 2006

Yes, that was the message posted on The Rides List by Dave M, after a conversation with Marianne & Colin. Still waiting for confirmation, not that I disbelieve the person posting it.

Bad news rally fans. I've just had an e-mail from Marianne saying that the PJM is off this year.
'I am sorry but we have decided to cancel the PJM because of fears that we would not be able to repair the damage or afford to do so. The World Round is only 3 months later, and it is the first time for over 20 years a World event has been held in the UK. We don’t want to risk falling out with Geraint, Wyn and everyone else. We did investigate running the PJM in a new forest but were unable to find parking and paddock area near to it, and the Forest Manager said that there are problems with residents living near it and illegal use (both two and four wheel).'
