I bought this bike earlier in the year and gave it my usual thorough mechanical once over

I then loaned it to my son for summer use but he has hardly used it and he doesn't ride in the winter months

When I bought it I did the following work :

Oil & Filter change
Air Filter
Fuel Filter
Spark plugs
Valve clearances (all in spec)
Antifreeze flush and change and new thermostat
Brakes fully stripped and reassembled and system bled
New brake pads front & rear
New fork oil seals , dust seals and oil
New chain & sprockets

I’ve added the following extras :
Fender extender
Pannier Rails
BMW OEM Handguards
Touring screen
BMW sump guard

Bike comes with heated grips , BMW alarm , Tyre Pressure Warning , ABS and onboard computer . File with service history included and comes with two keys and alarm fob plus riders handbook

I can supply it with one of three seat options - low , standard or high . Pick which one you want or have all three by negotiation ;-)

Just flew through it’s MOT with no advisories so 11 months MOT remaining

No known faults and all ready to go

Mileage is 26K so only done 300 miles since last service

Previous owner had painted the clutch cover matt black but I have a good used replacement which I intended to fit at the next oil change which will be provided

I have a pair of VARIO panniers and top box that are available at an extra cost of £300

Quadlock , tank bag and BMW NAV mount not included in sale (unless you want them at an agreed extra cost)

I've now seen my next project and itching to get garage space to allow me to work on it so how about £2650 including the Vario panniers , Vario top box and inner bags for the VARIO panniers . Luggage is coded to the ignition keys . Original toolkit and first aid kit under the seat . I'll also include the GIVI tank bag

Quite a few questions but no-one getting their wallet out :-(

I've been asked about how old the battery is - it's only two months old as I put a brand new one on the bike in August when I serviced it

Like me they are probably afraid to commit only to find out your "next project" is really the bike they wanted 😀

Next project is a bike for me to use on next years planned trip to Norway ;-)

For anyone sitting on the fence, just let me say that the f650/800 is a great all round bike, nice and light and plenty of go too.
Yet another bike I should have kept
Run this for 3yrs and loose bugger all when you come to sell it.

I ran one of these for five years commuting into central London, to 75k by the time I moved it on. I would certainly recommend as a daily run around. For pure road use I would say is a better bike than the 800GS, and very cheap to run.
