can anyone help ?

I have just bought a sidestand 'Hoof' from this site and it doesn't fit my 2010 Anniversary GSA, it fouls the mainstand when made to fit.

What I need to know is there a difference in this side stand to the 2010 GSA ?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I think there is a difference.....I know Wunderlich list a different part for their excellent sidestand enlarger for 2010 on models.

I went from an 06 GSA to a 2010 GSA and my old one wouldn't fit.

I just put my touratech one from my 06 gsa to my 10 plate aniversary and it went straight on:nenau

Thanks lads...Will try to get some picks but its hard to photo while sitting on the bike.

Will try to prop it up some how, or get help. :thumb

The Wunderlich version has an insert for the foot plate, I'm sure when I switched mine over the '10 sidestand 'foot' was slightly bigger and wouldn't fit. It also would have hit the exhaust, which I think is the OP's problem...the newer model didn't.

Cheers DB although it just misses the exhaust I would imagine on a bumpy road it would hit BUT the main concern is it definitely fouls the mainstand.

Hope this works. This is the shape of the foot and however I try and want it to fit it won't without the centre stand fouling in the upright position.

errr looks as though you have it on ctre stand then :blast

or are you hanging upside down while photographing

The photo - as you rightly say- was taken with the bike on the centre stand BUT it only shows the foot of the side stand.

The ideal solution would be to take photo's of the unit fouling the exhaust and silencer - BUT you already know that and are just trying to provoke reaction.

Please take it somewhere else if your don't wish to help, it would be much appreciated. :thumb

Do you have a grinder?:nenau

Sorry for stating the bleedin' obvious, but if it fouls it's a little too large.

If it really doesn't fit, then I'd suggest maybe putting it up for sale on here, stating it doesn't fit '10 on models, then buy a model appropriate one. You'll probably only lose a couple of quid on the deal.

My apologies I'm not trying to provoke, only I thought, stating the obvious.
im presuming now you mean it fowls the centre stand in its retracted position?:blast
as already suggested, just flog it on here and get one of these

Yep! Just a shame it was advertised as fitting the GS/GSA

These are for sale at £23 PP gift which is nearer £24, to sell on and the postage cost, I would probably loose more than a "couple of quid", all within a week for an item I was told would fit.

Thank you Pablo and it looks like that's the only route left for me.

Jacal , perhaps if you could ID P/Nos for both the 2010 GSA and the 2010 Anniversary GSA this may help?
I would suggest comparing Nos for both stands and the exhaust. It may just be your only sure fire answer.

Before this gets out of hand let's clear two things up:

1) It FITS the GSA , others have stated such.
2) I have offered you a refund provided you can meet certain conditions!

I have one of these 2011 GSA no problem with the fit

Jacal, is it possible that your side stand is bent. or maybe not fitted properly

Not much good buying a camel toe and having a similar problem
