2010 frame paint touch up

Hi all, After fitting the INNOVV K2 last week I’ve got a few other jobs on the 2010 TC to do ......... the next one is touching up the frame where paint is chipped off.
It doesn’t need to be rubbed down and sprayed just touched in
I didn’t just want to buy a tin of brushable smoothrite black in case there was a better match? ............. is there??

Yes there is, it's a touch-up pot of Sapphire Black available on Ebay. After saying that...I've used black Smoothright in the past and it was a good match. Alan

Smoothrite silver is pretty close, did the bottom of the forks and a couple of minor frame touch ups today.

I have used RS Motorbike paint based in Herts, they make up aerosol cans and have the correct BMW colour codes, may be worth seeing if they do touch up pens or with the rattle can spray into lid and use a paint brush.

I was very pleased with their service and was happy with my diy spray.

I'll second that, try RS paint if you want a good colour match. It won't come cheap but what looks reasonable in the garage, often doesn't appear so clever in sunshine: -
