2010 GSA Exhaust

Any real reasom to fit other than stock exhaust muffler to 2010 model.
Did anybody change and what was change in performance if any?

I'll want rid of the cat as soon as I can when I get mine and yes, it chokes the power and there is no legal reason for it being on the bike!

Dont feel the need on the New 12 ,always put remus headers +akro on my previous bikes but this one seems fine as it is ,would save weight ,but thats it

My 2010 1200GS with Akrapovic end can.

It's lighter and sounds better (in my opinion) than the standard can. I doubt it changes the power output.

I have removed cats and change pipes on one of my current bikes, the power difference is very noticeable, and would wonder why this would not do the same for the GSA?
