At least the gs has a fuel gauge! I've just picked up a 2011 Triumph Street Triple R, and it doesn't even have a fuel gauge

I've already learnt to reset the trip on fill up, then fill up after around 150 miles.

Never rely solely on one type of monitor until you are 100% sure you know the worst consumption figures your bike does.

In my case, the bikes fuel gauge has been 100% spot on until the latest tank of fuel. No reason not to trust the fuel gauge bars/low fuel warning until now.

Funny how brimming the tank today solved the problem yet only took 23 litres volume of a 33 litre tank, I wonder if something is amiss inside the tank with the fuel pump pickup pipe ?

Either that or the bottom half of my fuel tank is full of water?

(The previous tank full was from Sainsburys in Chichester just before the Goodwood ride out.)
