For Sale my lovely 2011 BMW R1200RT

21500 miles, 12 months MOT.

This is one of the excellent Twin Cam models, probably the best bike engine BMW have ever made.

Impeccable service history with recent Motobatt battery and Bridgestone T33 tyres.

Cruise control, heated grips and seats, ABS and ESA, Electrically adjustable screen, radio etc etc etc.

Loads of extras fitted.

Bar risers.
Bigger grips
Wunderlich adjustable foot pegs
Side stand enlarger.
Brake and gear lever extenders
Hex Ezcan controller.
Denali S4 driving lights fitted to engine protection bars.
Front Fender extender.
Additional Denali B6 brake light and rear mudguard extender.
Nav mount bar.
5 Series horn.
Innov front and rear cameras.
S W Motech tank ring.

For sale due to not touring any longer, this bike took my wife and I to Croatia this year in total comfort and without a single issue and consumed no oil in 3000 miles

Original panniers supplied and with Givi aluminium top plate but no top box.

Now fitted with original seat.

Supplied with spare exhaust headers too.

£5000 but negotiable depending on fitted extras.

Yep £5k is a lot but it’s a lot of bike and probably got in excess of £1k’s worth of extras.

Thanks
Rich

I'm a convert to these...should have bought one years ago...I'm 6 weeks into ownership of a 2012 version. They're superb. GLWS
Thanks Davey
It’s a sad sale and having to admit it’s too much for me fully loaded.
I’ll keep my TC GS as it’s lighter and I tend to ride it solo. The RT has been incredible and has wafted us across Spain, Norway, France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. Swiftly and in complete comfort at an average 57-58mpg.
She’ll be missed.

I must confess to having to do a double take when it read 60.1mpg after a fairly spirited 200 mile ride to the shops the other day. Filled it up and double checked....yup..60 mpg. Superb

Few more pics, taken today.

That's a very nice RT and with all the extras all you need to do is ride it...

I know but I think my big 2 up touring days are over. I’ll be keeping my TC GS though.
I was saying as much to a buyer as anything and I'm one of those that see an RT as an everyday, every reason bike... 👍
