2012.40 nav error

went for a ride yesterday and noticed that when approching a roundabout it gives me the wrong spoken directions. eg the map shows to take the 3rd exit but the voice says take the 4th exit - happened on different roundabouts so its a map fault i guess?

anyone else found the same?

I had a similar problem on a Quest with a much earlier map version. There were certain roundabouts where the map and voice instructions were in conflict. If this is the case, ignore the voice - the map display is always the correct one

Interestingly on some roundabouts in southern Spain the visual indicator now tells you to go round the roundabout in the wrong direction… question is I wonder how many novice continental drivers would just do that?

That's not good, Garmin need to sort that before they get sued by some numpty that does exactly what 'Doris' says.

Though I've just noticed that the boot 'I agree' screen says that you "take total responsibility for using this unit" which probably gives them an escape route...
