Long time lurker, never posted, but now need to sell my F800GS as I'm moving back to the US. I'm the 2nd owner and it's been a great bike, mechanically sound, but has blemishes not too out-of-the-ordinary for a 14 yo bike.

Bike comes with the black heavy plastic vario cases and a beat up Givi top case. I 'lowered' the bike by replacing the front and rear springs with the Hyperpro 'purple' lowering springs. The stock springs come with the bike if someone wants to raise it back to original.

I added an electric fuse-box to run some accessories, all via relays. One is the strebel 'air horn', another is two pair of medium/small LED front lights (low/high), and electrical supply for Gerbings heated gloves (low/high switch).

I replaced the stock headlamps assembly with this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074QVSVMT . The stock headlamp assembly also comes with the bike.

The F800GS maintenance DVD also comes with the bike although who has a dvd reader anymore! (I imaged it, and will share).

In-person transactions/pick-ups only, no exceptions! Bike located in Chalfont St Peter area (~22 miles west of London).

AI says £3,495 is a 'prioritize a very quick private sale' figure but asking £3,000.

Update 1: Got the MOT done Tuesday, passed with a single advisory on front nearside pads wear.

Update 2: Talking with the shop owner, determined AI was hallucinating on quick private sale figure.

Update 3: Now asking £2,400

Update 4: Asking £2,000. I'm thinking price isn't the issue, just a lack of general interest, and that's okay. Late October is not a great time to be selling a bike!
