Hi,

Not tackled this yet but want to mod the adjusters so the screen will go a bit higher. I see some folks have sanded/cut the top nub of the adjuster.

What's involved in removing these screen adjusters?, I'm concerned about just taking the thumbscrews all the way off a losing a nut somewhere in the cockpit.

Is there a guide somewhere or video showing what to do?

Steve

10mm socket on a wobbly handle, hold nut and just unwind. There's a bush behind the nut so get a hold of it as you draw the threaded part back out. It's so easy I can do it.

Cutting or sanding the top nub off makes no difference

It aint worth the effort

IMO

spot on,to reduce the buffeting you need the corect height screen brought down low to be closer to your bonce not furthur away(says me who after 5 gsa"s and many many screens now has found a combo which lets me ride with flip front open at 70 plus)

Yep. Mine works best one notch back from full forward.

On a long motorway run I'll sometimes clip a touratwat extender on. That makes for even less buffeting, but obscures my view on the twistys, so I take it off then.

I'm 5' 10".

I bought a Givi Air Flow a couple of weeks back and it's the first screen I've bought that actually makes a big difference. Far less wind noise, in fact it makes the engine noisier as the wind doesn't now drown it out so much. It makes it sound even more like a bag of nails than normal.......:blagblah

Job done, easy. And for me at 6'8" with a wunderlich spoiler it makes a big difference, very little wind noise. Moved problem elsewhere now, akro end can is now too noisy :-) may have to put baffles back in.
