Hi guys! The first time I asked for help on this forum was back in about 2003 when I got an 1100 75th Anniversary Edition, 20yrs later back asking even more questions!
I've read through a whole load of posts regarding the 1200GSA, and in particular the 90th Anniversary model from 2013 - one of which I picked up a week or so ago.
I have two questions,
first, were there no DIN socket outlets on the 1200?
second, this is my own stupid fault, but Is there a particular way of taking the seat off? Put the key into lock, turn it clockwise and take the rear seat off, then turn it anti-clockwise and then try to lift back of front seat but nothing happens. Is there something I am missing at all?
third, were there different colour combinations for 90th anniversary bikes? Mine has fade goldish colour on the beak and down the two side of tank panels - whereas most other I have seen only have the goldish colour on the tank. Any thoughts at all!
TIA.

It's 10 years since I traded in my Twin Cam but from memory.....push down on the rear of the rider's seat as you turn the key to fully release the lock...?

My 06 has a din socket under the left side of the seat.if you get your seat off it may be easier to find 😁
As said above try banging the rear of the seat as you turn the key,
I also have one next to the left winglet which is a common upgrade.

Both seats can sometime wedge together where they meet. Push down and back towards the back of the bike while releasing the rear seat. Push down/ thump front seat while releasing the front seat.

Re the gold lettering along the beak, I would say these are after market added on by a previous owner. I'm on my second 90th and neither had gold letting along the beak. As others have said, check below the seats on the frame , on the left for your socket.

Din socket outlets were an option afaik

one LH front section of the combi cluster / one LHS below seat
