I have a BMW tinted screen on my 2013 LC and hope to fit this to my new 2015 model I get in 2 weeks, I seem to remember reading something about new mounting? Is this correct and will I, won't I be able to do this? I have asked the salesman but he was unsure!

Cheers Dave

I fitted a 2013 Nippy Norman touring screen from my 2013 LC onto a 2014 model. There does appear to be larger bushes on the fixings on the 2014 but I managed with some home made rubber bushes. The hole centres are the same, just the hole size is different.

Was the change made in 2014 or is the 2015 different again? Can you get updated bushes from the dealer to fit this?

Not sure if you will know but thanks for the reply!

I got a BMW tinted screen off ebay, not sure of the manufacture year I'm afraid, but the holes were too small to fit the bushes taken off my clear screen and it didn't come with any new bushes. I just carefully drilled the holes in the screen bigger. As mentioned above, the centres are the same. Not bad for £35 :beerjug::friday

As I guess the dealer won't change my screen I will have to try this route as I don't want to have buy a new one:blast

Got my new bike today and found the holes about 3mm larger on the new screen. The biggest drill I could find was a 16mm masonry bit which was a bit tricky to use but I managed it and it's now fitted!
