I am looking for a bit of help as I am currently touring in Spain at the moment and my main headlight has gone on a 2014 liquid cooled RT. Firstly what sort of bulb is it perhaps H7 and secondly how do you take it out, is it from underneath with that circular finned cap that seems to be in line with the headlight bulb. Thanks in advance

By Main I assume you mean centre bulb ... ie dip beam.
yes , it's an H7 , and behind finned cover (anti clockwise to remove) ... go from wherever you can get at it best.

(Side beams - mains , require removal of speaker covers / speakers)

I've done this reaching from underneath, a bit fiddly getting the spring released and back that holds the bulb in as you can't see it although if you remove the left panel and little storage box and get a view of the bottom inners which may assist with the spring if you can't manage doing it blind.

Thanks for that chaps. All that information is very useful I'll try and do it when it has liked in the morning

JFYI. It looks the same as on a GS.

It's fundamental that you disconnect the plug before you disengage the spring clip - the spring clip support is very weak and breaks off easily, which leaves you fecked if it goes, 'cos you can't then hold the bulb in. (Unless you post-fettle it with a bent washer or similar, which you can't easily do without taking the whole unit out)
