Great as a company vehicle re benefit in kind as the same bracket as a van I had a disco 4 commercial and now have a disco 5 commercial as a company vehicle.

Ill attempt to answer all questions being asked:-
Ownership - We have owned this vehicle since 2015.

Servicing has been carried out by a local garage by mechanics who previously worked at the local Landrover specialist garage (charging a phenomenal hourly rate!):-
Each year or at the set mileage oils/filters have been replaced as well as the following:-
2026; OSF inlet manifold replaced
2025; rear; disc, disc pads. Brake pipes replaced rear, brake & clutch fluid replaced
2024; replace front lower suspension arms, bonnet catch, new side steps
2023; auto gear selector mode replacement, replaced steering shaft, hydraulic fluid
2022; oil filter, pollen filter, air filter
2021; steering joints greased
2019; replace throttle housing, replace rear disc/pads

In terms of known faults that the vehicle presently has:-
Eco mode does not work. Light permanently on the dash.
The starter button works absolutely fine but you need to push it in the correct spot.
The right hand extended cover of the roof rack is presently not attached - needs re attaching.
The tailgate fold down flap, which stops a gap inviting between tailgate & boot no longer has springs in it so it doesn’t always fold down.
Tyres will need replacing at some point soon-ish, there is a ‘road noise’ due to the tyres being squared off.

Other than the above the vehicle still runs smoothly. And, for its year it is in excellent condition.

Belts & water pump have not been replaced.
Belt replacement is circa £500 - should someone actually be interested then this would serve as good opportunity to discuss the price

Interested potentially hence asking.
However if you’ve got an Indy who can do the belts for you £500 then they’re losing money.
Even a good one who knows how to do it without the body coming off is £1k because of how long it takes with them being on the rear of the engine. Cheapest I’ve ever paid was £800 when it was part of a lot of other work x.

My brother in law is interested too for his surveying business. However, circa 145k miles and the front and rear belts not being done is a bit of a showstopper. They are meant to be done around 112k miles or at the seven year point, whichever comes first. I would get them done and alter the price accordingly. Anyone that knows LRs wont go near a vehicle with belts that old. Come back to me once they are done and I will let him know.
