am i right in thinking that you need to remove the crash-bars on a GSA to remove the coil stick (in order to replace the plugs)

Cant be right can it?

I only had a quick look earlier and it doesn't look like there is clearance

how big a job is it to remove the crash-bars?

Thanks

Lower crash bars can be a PITA to reseat, it's a very close fit and be careful not to cross thread the bolts.

I always use a tap and dye kit to clean male and female threads.... and take your time to get them threaded correctly first time.

Thanks chaps - confirmed what i was thinking..

SmogBob - which article were you referring to on the Machineartmoto website? - seems to be a list of discussion points?

(interestingly, the new tourance next tyres foul the mudsling, which is annoying - and they are listed on that article as "fitting")

Its just the photo of the crashbars nothing more....;)

And for the mudsling I use this below, solid as a rock, fitted with bolts, and no problem with tyres rubbing anywhere.

that's an interesting bit of kit - not seen them before.

I'll try re-seating the mudsling and see if i can gain some clearance. In fairness, its also up on the main-stand at the moment, it actually might not touch when its on both wheels and the suspension is compressed slightly (or it might make it worse!)

Yep had mine over a year now, lovely quality stuff, and Delboy777 bought one and is happy also.
