You guys!!! So when you're doing some unstoppable touring and the final drive goes phut you can console yourself that your trip may have been ruined but at least I've got a 2.9% finance deal and the BMW warranty? Muppet! BMW needs a good warranty because their bikes are shit. They can't afford to have shit bikes and a shit warranty. I've been riding bikes since '76 mainly Jap crap and a Harley. I put big miles on my bikes covering a minimum of 10k year. Blackbird 6 years 70k. HD 5 years 60k. Currently on my second ZZR1400 2012 30k. 40K on the previous model. CX500 23K in a year. Blah! Blah! I considered going the GS route but when I "joined" the forum and read about the crap quality (your words) and reliability I decided not to spend £15k on a shit bike. We test rode a few adventure bikes but they're dull dull dull. Who would spend £15k on a WC GS knowing that it has the same mechanical & electrical issues as the previous model?

Please tell me what mechanical/electrical issues I have had with my 2 previous models of this best selling heap of shit?

Otherwise, just sink back to the bottom of the pond you bottom feeding twat

When you look at the top of the crate it says "tear along the dotted line". This isn't how you open the crate, it's the instructions for use

Also can anybody confirm if the triple black cannot be lowered like a standard GS?

My dealer said it can only get a low seat down to about 820mm so I had to go with that - reason I ask is because on the website the comfigurator gives the option to lower to 800mm?

It comes with the dynamic break light, as for the height my understanding is that it's the same as any other GS in terms of heights. It's the new comfy seat that's 20mm taller, you can get the new seat in low, normal or high but they are all 20mm higher than the equivalent standard seats. I can't find it now but someone posted the heights of all three new seats.

I tried to get them to put a low seat on mine but as it was a bike that was already on its way they couldn't swap it (still going to have another go at them today about it).

Cymarc does a bracket to lower any seat by about another 10mm, so I have ordered one to try.

I saw it last week with a sold sign on it, however it was kitted up with lots of black add ons... Black Akra, screen, crash bars to name but a few, looked the dog dangles!!!!!
