every rite to be pleased with yerself! and you've picked a sunny day to pick your bike up

I made the mistake of going past a BMW garage last week and took a test drive on a new R1200GS but with the lowered suspension - I was sold within 100yds. I currently have a 2013 R1200RT Anniversary, the last of the air-cooled but it had to go. I previously owned a GS back in 2007 but was never happy on it being short in the leg department but the lowered suspension fits perfectly and what a difference with the engine. So in 4 weeks time I will be smiling like Redrick on a triple black.
Great site, loads of information.
The Triple Black is Andy's' AKA Roadcraftrider For the sake of around £100, and a bit of spannering, you could get the rear rack, seat base, radiator covers and cylinder covers painted black. That's what I'd do if I got one.
That bike looks great, Andy.
Do you have any modifications planned?![]()
