I made the mistake of going past a BMW garage last week and took a test drive on a new R1200GS but with the lowered suspension - I was sold within 100yds. I currently have a 2013 R1200RT Anniversary, the last of the air-cooled but it had to go. I previously owned a GS back in 2007 but was never happy on it being short in the leg department but the lowered suspension fits perfectly and what a difference with the engine. So in 4 weeks time I will be smiling like Redrick on a triple black.

The Triple Black is Andy's' AKA Roadcraftrider I had similar thoughts so I can see me doing something similar over the winter. Thinking of ceramic coating the exhaust too.
Dang, what a lovely ride, loved the TC but Shite the LC is a different bike, so much more zip. One happy bike owner.

After taking off 4 stone in farkles from the TC I think he has come to realise weight saving is important although it would look good with the black carbon Akra

Feck no, not this time, my farkling days are done.
Can't even fit the Autocom due to new modules fitted under pillion seat.

Air intake grilles
Side stand enlarger (Oh er)

Where do you buy all this stuff, which site do you recommend ? Looks good especially the air intake grills, I don't understand why BMW don't have this as standard and the RAD guards, who is Mark btw ?
What is helicopter tape and why do you put it on the centre stand ?

Yeah forgive all the noob questions, still learning about the GS as I don't have my bike until another few weeks
