Michelin Pilot Road 4 Trail

I liked the origional Anakee 3 fitted and love the Tourance Next which is currently on the bike.
Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2. All the tyre you will ever need for tarmac. Performs great to the edges when pushed hard at the Nurburgring. Thr RoadTec01 or Conti RA3 may be stickier in extremis, but they carry a significant price premium. I can’t outride the Pirellis, so they will do me just fine.
Just had some Metzler Roadtec 01 can't tell you much about them as I have only done about 10 mile but one thing I did note was the noise. Far far less road noise coming up from the folk area than the Panakee 3's
So......3000 miles in on factory supplied Metzeler Tourance Next tyres and about to do a 3000 mile Euro trip. Rear already squaring off and not looking very confidence inspiring for the Alps. Just found that the 'Next' range are now made in China (versus Germany) and generally giving very poor mileage and performance compared to the old faithful German made Tourance (of which I had many for years and years). Apparently, the 2 best road tyre options for the GS (with no off-roading likely) are either:
1. Bridgstone A41 (Japan made) £255 incl for a pair fitted
2. Continental Trail Attack 2 (Germany made) £281 for a pair fitted
Irrespective of the £30 price difference, what are your road experiences of these tyres (mileage, grip, wet, general confidence)?
Apologies if this question has already been comprehensively covered. Keen to see what the word on the street is on these tyres (plus the original Tourance Nexts) for road riding.
Many thanks

In 10 miles, must have been Norfolk then
No just got some minor health issues at the mommne tso can't ride to much but had it booked in for some tyres, so it was just a case of riding to the garage and back. I'll give a better report when i'm sorted

Conti Road Attack 3
+1
After 6000 miles i removed a set of Anakee 3's (factory fitted) from my GSA and good riddance! I hated them! Plus the road noise from the front wheel was just awful.
Always ran Conti trail attack 2's on previous bikes and loved them. Now days i do so little gravel/off-road that it made more sense to have a full road tyre.
Delighted with the Conti Road attack 3's and they're super quiet too.

What kind of mileage are people getting out of these? I'm not particularly mileage sensitive, but would be interested in how they last compared to other popular tyres?
That is a big question, many ride 2 up, others alone and go hell for leather, others alone and tootling along, far to many variations to give a good answer, climate heat cold road surface to name a few more.

To be honest no idea yet as I’ve not had them on long
I ride 2 up lots and all that I care about is grip wet and dry, don’t care if they don’t last long just as long as they stick like shit to a blanket
