hi
There is no mention that the GSA received the same update like the GS for the new next generation auto leveling and setting Dynamic ESA.

Can somebody please confirm?

Thank you

It's coming in July/ August. Along with hill start assist and revised plastics. :thumb

Auto levelling will be on the next generation GSA. I have a 2017 GSA and it's not on it.

Hi
I had that feeling as well.
So I would better wait to order you think?

Thank you

If you're not in a hurry for it, then wait, but you'll miss 2-3 months of riding in the best weather. If you've got something to ride in the meantime, I'd wait.:thumb

how do you know this ?
is this a 100% ?
I'm waiting on my new one to come after I rejected my last one and now I'm wondering about waiting and getting a "new one"

Yes, it is 100%. The official announcement will be made in the coming weeks.

Shame on you for asking such a question. How long have you been on this forum? Are you not yet aware of the deep connections that Nutty has into the BMW corporate structure :D

There is soooo much hype about it all that its no way that I didn't believe Nutty, I know he knows his stuff but I am in the middle of getting a replacement bike so I would wait till the new one came out, the only trouble is I would like to see it before hand and as there are no pics etc yet I'm a little concerned about getting the one that's out now

just wished I could see a pic

Have a bike without the new auto esa .
Personally I think it is a step backwards, less adjustability and too soft or too hard are the two damping settings available . I much preferred the esa on my 2014 gs.
My weight is a non standard 11.75 stone.

If there is a new GS/major facelift it won't be shown before first major show in September and won't be available until Spring 18, then give it 6-12 months for them to sort all the problems

I asked my dealer and apparently they don't know anything either about the new model

I think I might get a refund If they wont let me wait and have a 2018 model ;)

They all play the 'don't know' card.

Order one, but say you don't want it until September, and that you want a 2018 model, built after mid August. As long as they listen to you, it'll be the updated model.

I would strongly suggest (if you haven't done so already) that you ride a 2017 GS with the updated ESA before waiting for the later model....my view and that of a few others is that the later version ain't so good. I thought the Multi strider ebduro was a much better bike in terms of ride....the GS just feels weird.

I disagree,,the new Rally sport I rode with the new ESA dynamic on was incredible...cant see how it can be better just yet

I also think its happening on the RT next year ....a clue is that BMW are offing large discounts on the Model ,giving something like a £1000 contribution towards the deposit, So they must want rid of stock for the new version to be able to fit in .
