Just a heads up, if anyone is interested, the bars on the 2017 are different to the previous years. They offer more protection for the cylinder heads, eliminating the need for separate valve covers, unless you go off road. There's also a larger plastic/ rubber insert, which should take more of the impact in the event of a fall.:thumb

I originally ordered the Wunderlich Rock guards, but they won't fit on these bars.

Here's some pictures.

I've got a source for them, if and when I decide to get them ;)

Stop showing off! :P

I'm not showing off, I'm being informative. Anyone ordering a 2017 GSA may also have crash bar accessories to fit, so now they know they won't fit.:rob:D

I was referring to your black cylinder heads that BMW has not STILL not sorted! Don't worry, it's probably TB envy as I saw one in the flesh at the weekend and they are very nice. Why oh why didn't they paint the tank from the beginning?

As all the engines are black across the boxer range now, I find it strange that BMW still paint the cylinder covers the wrong colour, so it doesn't match. Very odd.

Fresh meat here and apologies if posting in wrong place. Great forum and this thread.

I am about to pop my cherry and get a new GSA (lowered). Ex CBF1000 so from Biffer to Tosser. Have my wish list from Nippy Normans sorted with thanks to the forum. I almost pressed pay on the mods till read this thread.

Is there any way to find out what else has changed before I end up posting a load threads on for sale board for bits that won't fit. Spoke to the dealer near by yesterday and he wasn't sure . In fact he sounded like an old two stroke engine so unsure.

Any advice welcome apart from spell checking:beerjug:

As far as I can tell, just the engine bars. Nippy is quite good though and will refund you if anything doesn't fit.:thumb
