2017 GSA Triple Black tank protection

Moto Graphics do them , they are based on Alma Road in Rotherham, next door to Rainbow Motorcycles who are local BMW dealer.

Did somebody already noticed that 2017 TB's build after May 2017 don't have a varnish anymore on top of the black GS logo sticker...?
I've requested a warranty claim as my TB shows already scratch marks on both sides of the tank....initially the claim was rejected based on "regular" usage damage (6K on the clock and 2 months old).....and the mention that the GS logo sticker could be re-applied....
In my remark to the dealer if they would remove the existing GS sticker I got a negative reaction which made sense to me as it has the varnish on top of it...
The dealer said that there is no varnish and showed me 2 models in their showroom (both were build after May)...and indeed no varnish....
Based on this info I requested again the warranty claim since apparently either it was a production failure or a(n undocumented) change done for a specific reason....(and that reason is clear to me now)...
Anyone else have the same situation...?
