Because they’re cramped, ugly and looked like they were “styled“ by the Japanese with a set of blunt crayons, overseen by a marketing department?

Sounds like me to a tee.
Got to say all the reviews I've looked at / watched are very positive indeed, and there is always the option to mod as required but I rather like the look of it as stock.
Needs a longer front mudguard though.
They are great bikes IMO - the softail chassis handles well, the brakes are great … the 114 engine is a peach…
you will need to check the ergonomics……as the mid pegs do sit very high…

It's the "new" 107 engine, have to say it sounds lovely.
My RKS is a 107 with a Stage 2 and I have to say, it's not lacking in the get up and go department
a question for you Harley guys, i'm completely new to Harleys so please forgive any stupid questions...
having taken the Street Bob for a test run, when cruising along in 5th or 6th the engine is very quiet but accelerating up through the gears it sounds like there appears to be a lot of top end rattle.
i know it is long overdue a full service but is this normal ?
oh, and the back brake is truly awful !!

It’s been neglected…… now that could be a reasonably straightforward issue….. but do you want to take that risk? Especially if you’re paying someone to do the work for you?
I agree ... there are plenty out there for sale. Don't think you've go to buy the first one you test ride
