I don’t know what is wrong with me. I guess I’m bored and trying to find fulfilment by changing bikes every 6 months. I guess it has something to do with my compulsion to wash a bike as soon as it gets dirty. Yet this kind of bike is not designed to be washed every time. Just used. Abused maybe. They are the ultimate workhorse.
It’s absolutely spot on. 70+ to the gallon. Easy on motorways but also very tractable at low speeds up every hill I have thrown it at around North wales.
I guess that if I want to wash a bike every time then either it needs to be dirtier (lighter.. and more dual sport focused) or a nice shiny thing that I can then admire.
