Hi Folks,

I'm looking to sell my 2019 1250 GSA.

It's been used all year round and is in decent condition, but not pristine, obviously.

The mileage is 28,030 at the moment and has a full BMW service history. The valves were checked on its last service just a few weeks ago.

BMW approved Akro' silencer

It has a Mud Slinger fitted, along with Wunderlich centre stand guard and headlight protector, along with foot peg rubbers and a screen brace/anti theft surround. Also has bar risers.

The front tyre is about 8 weeks old and is a Conti TA3. The rear is in need of replacement, along with the rear brake pads. Front pads are also around 8 weeks old.

If the full asking price is met, I'll fit a new TA3 to the rear and get the pads changed as well.

There is an Innov RC6 system fitted, and this is available separately.

I also have a full set of BMW luggage for the bike available separately.

Looking for £7,850

Wow. Are you trying to depress the value of our bikes.

I'd say you need some more pics IMO.

"Decent" condition is open to interpretation.

Show close ups, warts n all.

Check out my recent GSA which sold in a an hour for inspiration. Consumers demand lots of decent photos these days, you are wanting thousands of their hard earned after all. Good luck, it seems a very keen price. 👍

As per comments, I've attached more photos.
I've also decided that I'll get a new rear tyre fitted this week, along with rear pads, so I can ride it a little more.
As you can see, the front shock is corroded, and there is a little damage to the rear drive from a little slide along the road.
More photos to follow.

A decent bike for the dosh.
It's so refreshing to see a well used bike that's been out and about all year round in all weathers.
They are, after all, a disposable, depreciating asset.
If people wish to only ride in the sun on dry unsalted tarmac that is their choice, but there's something satisfying about challenging the weather and road conditions IMHO.
Hope I haven't started a host of responses.
Good luck with your sale.

Yeah, This last year has been particularly heavy on it.
11,300 miles between MOT's, but that's what happens when your new partner lives 200 odd miles away.
Went to Tan Hill Inn earlier in the year and with hindsight, it wasn't my best move coming back down Buttertubs in a blizzard...

I took a deposit on the bike last night from Kamikaze Moto and hopefully hand the bike over on Friday.
Pleasure to do business with him.....

Fabulous!! Although you've looked after the bike best as possible, you've used it and not got all precious about servicing, and probably the ritual wash and polish after a few miles out. Or, making sure the duvet doesn't let draughts in when it's tuck up in its centrally heated garage with soft music to keep it happy.
Well done you.

Good price for the age indeed.

What amazes me as a long term lover of the brand - hd over 40 BMw bikes in my life - is how absolutely shockingly bad the quality is of late. I mean this is a 19MY bike, nearly current, with a regular use and a few winters behind it. Look at that front shock…
I mean… shock and awe. A Honda would never do that. You see a million mile paneuropeans with 20 winters behind them in better state…

My Avatar K1600B, a proper garage queen, can oxidize in places I haven’t Acf50 in over 4 days… while i m looking…

Yeah but as you say. That's an older pan.

Modern anything (including Honda) is much poorer quality.

Agreed re: modern build quality, but I do have to challenge your view on Honda - the famous ‘Honda build quality’ is a thing of the past! I’ve had two recent (2017 onwards) Honda’s and the quality was shockingly bad - frame falling to bits, spokes rusting through the rim, rust inside the tank, water inside the instruments……and I am not on my own in that experience!

Perhaps… i m still in the blackbird/vfr800 foxeye/ paneuropean era…

Only had an integra scoot of recent times, and it was shite. Mostly because of dct. Which is godawful. The devil.
