, there was some talk of 2020 being made in India but I believe still made in Austria

rear brake line(recall for 2019 and 2020 that haven't been updated in factory.
still made Austria.
graphics are still the same.

I see what you're saying - not much sense from me there.

Spending over £2000 is not easy though

I should have quoted the R version which already has adjustable suspension.

well its like this a 2019 new, registered today is £500 cheaper than a new 2020,

no differences will have little effect on any residual values id imagine.

£500 off for a previous model year is not exactly a bargain when you can get 2020 models at a promotional price of £1,500-£1,600 off.

I suspect these promo prices are to clear the decks for the 2021 models, so the "bargain" of £500 off for a 2019 will be for an almost two-year-old bike.

I just purchased a 2020 790R, aside from the new color, actual production date stamped on title is December 2019. Rear brake recall had to be taken care of at the dealer after crate assembly, software was version 1V27. I had it upgraded to 1V29 which enabled the shortcut buttons, but did loose the "free" quickshift (not+) option. From my own past experience with BMW bikes here in the US, we tend to be a year behind in model year vs production year. Hope Europe fairs better in this regard.
